Having used this for a few weeks, I am loving it. The features are good, the lid pockets and inner lid pocket, essential (phone, emergency first aid etc), the single closure compression straps over the main pocket and compression to the main body via side straps work well. Capacity is good, with careful packing a sleeping bag and kit for an overnight would be possible. I have carried a full climbing rack and 1 rope for a 6 hours on a walk / scramble and this was probably on its limits for comfort at about 13-14kg weight, I wouldn't have wanted a whole day, but it carried it well and next time I'll get my mate to take half the rack. Would highly recommend, it's my second Montane bag, the other being the Alpine 40, which is better for longer days and heavier loads.
