Love the vents on this smock while climbing. Side vents and the one on the chest work great. The hood is also fantastic being snug. The groin strap is also a great touch and stops it riding up due to the movement of your backpack. Love it.

This is a great piece of kit. I have been wearing this with just a thin t-shirt underneath and it has been plenty warm enough even when the temperature dropped below -2°c
The only drawback I find is that it’s pretty difficult getting out of (no problem getting in) and when I receive mine there was a slight imperfection on the left sleeve (looked like a very tiny burn hole about 1mm across , as if it had been caught on something) this wasn’t worth sending back and if it gets worse ill patch it with insulation tape.
The material (pertex) also seems a little ‘fragile’ and ‘flimsy’ and looks as if it could catch easily on branches, twigs if out hiking. Although luckily this hasn’t happened yet.
Very warm and 99.999% wind proof, I’d certainly recommend.
