I bought the men's version because I preferred the design. The grey is slightly shiny and the red zips nicely break up the monotone. At 6' tall and 70kg, the 'large' fits well in length of sleeve and body but is a little baggy in width. The 'medium' also fitted well, but the hood was pulling on the shoulders when up, so I went for the size up.
The first day I wore this jacket I went over the handlebars of my bicycle, and if the jacket hit the tarmac, there is no trace of it - I had fully expected some big holes, but nothing. I then took it to the Scottish Highlands for a week of mountain biking, and I was very impressed. With huge variations in conditions during the day, the jacket was on and off a lot, easily stuffed into my rucksack's side pocket in a few seconds. When it was on, it was super lightweight, kept the wind out, and in intermittent, occasionally heavy rain and even hail I stayed completely dry. The hood fitted easily under the helmet when the rain was particularly copious. They were not the easiest conditions to test breathability, but when I might have expected there to be some moisture build up from previous experience, there wasn't any. While the sleeves were a good length in the cycling position, the long elasticated rear did ride up a bit but then I did have to move around a lot. The jacket got splattered with peaty mud every day, but by the next day it had dried off and miraculously disappeared. After one week of cycling with a rucksack, there is no sign of rubbing under the shoulder straps.
This is not purpose-made mountain biking jacket, but it performed very well as such in very trying conditions. It is expensive, but it is very good. As I will use it mainly for cycling, I would have liked a stowable hood and some reflective detail, bit then it's not a cycling-specific jacket. I am very pleased with it.

Brilliant jacket. Lightweight, packs into bra rash pocket small to slot into side/lid pockets on a pack. Have worn it both hiking and running in some pretty nasty weather. Stayed bone dry. Condensation level from running acceptable. Only grip being when on a fast and light scramble the running from the strap on my map case has breeched the fabric on the neck of the jacket. The superior lightweightness has reduce md the robustness of the jacket.
