  • Where does Montane down come from?

    Montane is deeply committed to the preservation of the environment and the humane treatment of animals. We work closely with Allied Feather & Down, a down specialist founded in 1987.

    From our Autumn / Winter 2015 season onwards we were proud to become the first brand in the world to commit to Allied's Responsible Down Standard (RDS) across our entire clothing range. RDS is an all-encompassing third-party accredited industry source standard for down and is our mark to ensure that the down in our products does not come from animals that have been subjected to any unnecessary harm. With Allied RDS certified down in Montane down garments, you can be 100% sure that the fill has been sourced responsibly and ethically.

  • How should I carry electronic items in my waterproof?

    External pockets on all Montane waterproofs are highly water resistant but very occasionally some water ingress can occur when accessing the contents in wet or snowy conditions. We would recommend storing any electronic devices in a sealable waterproof bag inside an internal pocket. Montane cannot be held responsible for any damage to electronic or other delicate equipment.

  • I'm going on an expedition. Can you recommend what Montane clothing / equipment I should take?

    Montane clothing and equipment has been tested in some of the harshest conditions in the world and our athletes and staff have been there with it. If you have any questions on what you might need, please use our contact form and we?ll make sure you get the advice you require. If you are going on an organised trip you should also contact the company organising the expedition as they may have their own recommendations.

     
  • How do I place an order through www.montane.co.uk?

    Navigate to the product(s) that you wish to purchase and select add to basket. Once you're ready to complete your purchase, click the basket symbol at the top right of the page and proceed to the checkout, following the on-screen instructions.

     

  • How can I change my order?

    If your order has not yet been shipped you may be able to change your order. Please contact us as soon as possible.

    If your order has already been shipped, we will be unable to make any changes until it arrives at its destination.

  • When will you dispatch my order?

    All orders placed before 13:00 are typically dispatched the same day, orders placed after this time or on Saturday, Sunday or national holidays will be dispatched the next working day.

    You will receive an email to confirm when your order is dispatched.

  • Can I track my order?

    Yes, your order can be tracked through your online account.

    If you don't have an online account, you can track your order using the information in your confirmation email.

  • How long will it take to receive my order?

    Delivery normally takes 1 - 2 days to most UK addresses although delivery may take longer to remote areas, islands and during exceptionally busy periods (e.g. Christmas).

    Delivery to Europe and the rest of the world will take longer, please contact us for more details if your order is time sensitive.

    Our courier will contact you on the morning of delivery to confirm an approximate time.

  • The product I want is out of stock. What should I do?

    If the product you are looking to purchase is currently out of stock, there are two options:

    You can either contact us here and we will be able to advise you when stock will become available through www.montane.co.uk or you can visit our stockist page to locate a Montane retailer who may have the product in stock.

  • Do Montane products come with a warranty?

    To help guard against occasional faults in workmanship and materials, all Montane products are supplied with a warranty for the reasonable lifetime of the product. This warranty applies to the original owner when purchased from an authorised Montane retailer or directly though www.montane.co.uk when accompanied by proof of purchase.

  • How can I access my online account?

    Your account can be accessed by clicking Account at the top of any page.

    If you do not already have an account you can register by clicking Account, then selecting Register and follow the on-screen instructions.

  • I've forgotten my password. What should I do?

    Your password can be reset by clicking Account at the top of any page, then selecting Forgotten your password. Enter your email address to generate a password reset link for your account.

     

  • Is my information kept private?

    Montane will only use your information to create an online customer account for you, send you purchased products and authorised notification emails / texts with delivery updates. We will not contact you with information on Montane news, events and offers unless requested by you in your online account or through our newsletter sign-up form.

    We will not share your online account information with any third parties.

    We may share data in relation to specific online competitions and promotions, but the terms and conditions of this will be made clear with each individual competition or promotion.
