Athlete Reviews

Competitors of both races enjoyed what is widely expected to be the last day of fine weather; the Tot Dret enjoyed a 45% completion rate with 120 finishing within the 44hr cut-off, and the final front-runners of the TOR crossed the finish line.  Conditions are predicted to turn more Alpine for the final few days, with light dustings of snow and cooler temperatures expected.  With many of the final climbs reaching into the 3000m’s, this change in weather will no doubt take its toll on the remaining racers.

Montane Athlete Kevin Hadfield finished in an impressive 103:47.20, placing 53rd overall! Jenn Gaskell is maintaining a steady pace and is looking strong in 25th place (female).
