Team Montane runners: approaching the Montane Tor des Géants

The Tor des Géants (TDG) is one of the premier endurance trail running races in the world. Starting and finishing in Courmayeur, the 205 mile / 330km course wends its way through stunning Alpine scenery, crossing two natural parks, over 25 mountain passes and next to 30 alpine lakes. It is beautiful in its brutality.

2016 sees the first Montane sponsored TDG and to celebrate this, a strong contingent of international Team Montane ultra runners is poised to take on the challenge:

Jenn Gaskell (UK)

The accidental ultra runner, Jenn began long distance running on a whim and now regularly competes in the British and European trail running race scene.

She returns to take on the 2016 TDG after placing 1st woman under 30 in 2014.

Ari Veltman (IL)

Ari took up trail running to lose weight. He did not bank on completely falling in love with it. From 2014 onwards he was hooked and the distances he undertook became ever longer. Taking a year out from his office job from 2015-2016, the TDG represents a momentous journey of self-discovery for Ari and will be the pinnacle in his ultra racing story.

We are proud that he will represent Team Montane in 2016.
