Excellent all round day pack![]()
Bought the Cobra to replace an ancient cragging sack and have been very impressed. At 25 litres it's just about big enough to take my rack, some food and a bit of spare clothing. It's quite a slender pack so doesn't get in the way on multi-pitch routes. It's comfortable too, even when full of metal work. Some nice touches enhance usability - waist belt pocket, hydration sleeve, internal clip for keys. It's even coped with a day's back country skiing (although there are probably more robust two-compartment sacks out there which I think are better suited to back country use). But if a lightweight technical daypack is what you're after, this one's thoroughly recommended.

Fantastic![]()
Firstly it's hydration pack compatible and even has the clip on the shoulder strap to clip the tube in. Very clever chest harness that you can undo with gloves on. Very large opening in the top of the bag makes access very easy. neat little pocket on waist harness for mobile, wallet etc as well as one in the top of the bag for your gloves or first aid kit..another pocket found inside the bag at the top. Good anchor points for walking poles or ice axes and it's very comfortable to wear. For it's size you can cram a lot of gear in. However, if you are a large man like me, then just be wary that the waist harness may not fit you as it doesnt with me, but it didnt stop me purchasing it. Breathable shoulder straps that won't chaffe your shoulders if your just wearing a T shirt. This is my first Montane bag as I have 4 others from different manufactures and I'm very impressed with it. Purchased from Go Outdoors. Classy, functional and comfortable. Everything you need in a bag. Looking forward to my hike in the Forest of Dean soon.

Great Multi-functional pack![]()
I've had this bag for about a year now and I've used it in all seasons, originally buying it for travelling light on some alpine routes but have come to find it s now my bag of choice for all my mountaineering endeavours. I've used it for scottish winter trips where the additional front bungee cord comes in really useful for storing crampons and ice axes can be securely and tidily in the custom slot. The pack has plenty of neat features but manages to remain clutter free which is essential when climbing. Although the pack does not have a hood in which a rope can be stored (see medusa 32) it is really easy to personally add a strap and buckle to the top to create such a device. After being heavily used since the day I bought the pack it shows very minimal signs of wear. All in all this is a great bag that saves on weight but maintains functionality.

Cobra 25 - fantastic piece of kit![]()
I recently purchased the cobra 25 for when im out on the crags climbing. Thepack is well suited for a hillwalking, travel or climbing bag as it is comfortable and has a mesh back and shoulder pads that stop you getting horrible sweat patches where the bag contacts (nothing worth than getting sweaty and uncortable when carrying a pack out on the hills). I find the pack has plenty of storahe space which is great for storing climbing gear for example because you can organise your gear so that you can save time getting racked up when at the crag because you know where everything is. I also do alot of hillwalking and the bag is idea because you can store extra layers of clothing and food etc easily as there is tonnes of space! The hydrate bag compartment is handy for long treks as you can fill up ypur hydration bladder and rehydrate yourself on the move instead of stopping and starting whenever you want a drink. In addition to this the pack looks fantastic and is very reasonably priced for the quality of the product! Great buy!
