If you're looking for the step up from marathon running, or a tester for the Montane® Lakeland 100 later in the year, then have a look at the Montane® Highland Fling.
Not only is the one of the friendliest ultra races, through some of the most stunning scenery in Scotland and one of the best value; it is also a relatively flat course!
Starting in Milngavie and finishing in Tyndrum, some 53 miles and between 7 and 12 hours later, don't be fooled into thinking it's a breeze, it's not. But, you will get great support along the way, you will get an even greater reception at the finish with food, cold beer, your well earned medal and a bottle of bubbly!
Add to this a party atmosphere like no other at the Ceilidh after the race and you might find it hard to resist.
