Caring for Polartec

All Montane garments have a printed care label permantly attached with care instructions shown, follow these and you'll not go far wrong. The key principle is to keep you gear clean to get the best possible performance.

The care instructions for the majority of Polartec fabrics are to machine wash warm, tumble dry low, do not use bleach or fabric softener, and do not dry clean.

Over time the Durable Water Repellancy (DWR) will be diminished by washing and wear and can be restored by using Nikwax cleaning and reproofing products, see www.nikwax.com for further details
