The Arrow Head Ultra is a 135 Mile long race in the deep winter across northern Minnesota, virtually all on the Arrowhead State Snowmobile Trail from I-Falls to Fortune Bay Casino near Tower. Competitors pick their mode of transport at the start: by foot, ski, or snow bicycle.
Growing from ten racers 6 yrs ago to over 100 starters in 2010, the race attracts arguably some of the world's best winter ultra-athletes competing with normal mortals for a personal challange.
Paul Errington supported by Montane® and Genisis Bikes finished the 2010 Arrowhead 135 winter ultra-marathon in the top 25. Paul wore an Extreme Smock and Terra XT sallopettes on the race. The Extreme Smock he described as his "portable tropical paradise".
Paul finished in 31Hrs 37mins, 22nd overall. 60 entrants finished out of 102 starters in the 2010 race.
