As a company that make products for mountainous environments, we're only too aware that if it all goes wrong we need someone to come and rescue us.

At Montane we always try to be supportive of Mountain Rescue and over the years have built up good relationships with many teams and have become the kit of first choice in many instances.

Mountain Rescue needs for outdoor clothing are very similar to those of everyone else in the mountains, products need to be as lightweight as possible, highly breathable and tough enough to stand up to very demanding weather conditions. Many teams wear our Extreme Smock for just this reason.
