We reckon this is going to be one of the toughest clubs to join in the UK.

Entry is on merit only; none of that 'if your name's not on the list' stuff.

The only way to join is to enter and complete all of our 100 mile events in the same year. So that's the Montane Kielder 100 and the Montane Lakeland 100 and also a new 100 mile mountain duathlon type event which we hope to announce early in the new year and to take place in October or November 2010.

It really will be a special kind of endurance outdoor athlete that can join this club.

And we will offer special benefits to our club members including
